about

With over twenty years of experience in the international art scene Philip Feyfer collaborates with and advises a wide range of collectors, institutions and artists. After obtaining a scientific art historical background through a Masters degree at Art History at the University of Leuven followed by a Masters degree at the Arts at the University of Cambridge, through Christie’s Education in Paris - he joined forces with the team at Axel Vervoordt in 1999. At the Vervoordt company he was able to develop both commercial and design skills on a broad international level, developing a vast network and leading many international art fairs and exhibitions as well as numerous interior projects. These projects being as diverse as yachts, country houses, castles, even to restyling one of Picasso’s houses at the Côte d'Azur.

A special focus for historical and contemporary design furniture grew along the way. Sourcing and unveiling new information in the research of important design collections came to be a passion leading to creating international attention for the intriguing designs by for instance BBPR, Pierre Jeanneret, Le Corbusier and Jose Zanine Caldas. This passion further unfolded led to his own specific, custom designs and creations allowing projects to be completed in a perfect balance or juxtaposition.

Since 2015 Philip Feyfer created his own company PFEYFER which provides not only international art consultancy for building art collections but also focuses on complete newly built and interior projects which are driven by art and collecting. In doing so, Philip Feyfer functions as the stylist, consultant and unifying factor in between the client, architect or interior architect, artists, art dealers, artisans, shippers etc.. to create and lead, guide the project to a personal and exclusive result. In the meantime many projects have been successfully completed and published ; from large corporate and private projects in NYC to beautiful country houses in Connecticut as well as newly build developments in Philadelphia. But also in Europe several private collections, penthouses as well as country estates and art fairs have been overhauled.

A next step announced itself through a private dealership were all disciplines will coincide. More information will follow soon.
